How do two fee assumptions compound?

These editable examples do not represent any provider or a permitted Pillar 3a contribution.

Choose your assumptions and calculate both illustrative balances.

Each year: new balance = opening balance × (1 + gross return / 100 − fee / 100) + annual contribution. Constant returns, fees and year-end contributions; excludes taxes, inflation and other charges. Inputs are not transmitted or saved.

Where Swiss pension rules fit

The official third-pillar overview explains the distinction between restricted Pillar 3a and unrestricted Pillar 3b savings. Verify your own eligibility, contribution limits and withdrawal conditions there and with the relevant institution before making a real transaction.
